Long Weekends Seem to be Popular...

Hey there! I'm such a slacker, I haven't posted a blog entry since February 13th. . Haha. Well, I've been overloaded with school work, and then when I have free time, I have been watching some anime. I've barely done any work on my sites. It's quite sad, actually. Haha.

So, this is the third long weekend we've had in a row. The first was a snow day, and it was stormy so we had no school. Last Monday was our long weekend holiday for the month. This Monday coming is a professional development day for our teachers. So it's a lot of free time for us. Haha.

I have been doing a lot of graphics design in my spare time. I made several new layouts, and a few avatars. The avatar used above is one that I made yesterday. I made a new layout, which I plan to use on Itazurana next. The avatar is from that. I love it, haha.

I have been using my deviantart account again. I'm not exactly sure what made me want to check it, but yesterday I logged on, and I've been using it a lot since then. I added some avatars to it, and wrote a mini blog entry, and some other stuff. If you want to check it out, you can see my profile here.

I finally judged all of the contest entries for the avatar contest I was holding at Lunar Month. It was a hard decision, but I finally picked the winners. You can check out the site if you're interested to see who won, and their entries.

I have quite a few new hostees at Itazurana. I think it's...5, maybe? Only one new one is displayed on the site, because the others don't have their sites ready yet. But the newest one displayed is Yuusora, an icon archive run by Saphira. She's got talent, so check out her stuff :).

So, although I've been watching Naruto, I've been starting a few other anime series' as well, since Naruto is so long that sometimes I want some variation haha. I think I'm on episode 180-something of Naruto. I also just finished Vampire Knight. It took me less than a week, I do believe. I love that show so much. It's definitely one of my favourite anime series'. It was just so good, and captivating! :). Tonight, I started Ga-Rei: Zero, the anime series. I read the entire manga, up until it's latest release (which was epic, by the way. I totally thought it was finished, but apparently there's a full new arc coming out.) and began watching the anime series, which shows the events leading up to the start of the manga. It's pretty good so far. It's great to see the characters that I grew to love in the manga, years before, and see how different they were, and how much they developed. It also better explains a lot of what happened.

Apparently in...October?...they're releasing an anime series of Ga-Rei, which will follow the manga. I'm so excited for that, because I LOVE that manga. Haha. I'm also excited for the new Fullmetal Alchemist series to come out in April (I think that's when it comes out). I loved the first series, but it'll be great to see this new version, which follows the manga.

So, big news for the day: I got my acceptance letter from University a few days ago, and I got accepted! I was so excited. I received the letter fairly early as well. :).

I've been craving "Pocky" like madeness. I love the stuff, but I don't know where they sell it around here. The past few days, since I've been watching Vampire Knight, I've wanted it so bad, because some of the characters on it eat Pocky a lot. Haha. It's amazing food. :P.

So, at the moment, I'm not allowed to eat much food at all. Fruits, vegetables, bread, and a few other things. I can't eat greasy food, or junk food, or anything good ( ). I have some sort of stomach problem, and I had to cut out all of those foods, and take a bunch of pills, haha. I'm not sure what's wrong. I have to get a bunch of tests done soon. *Sigh*. No more tasty food for me. Haha.

So, I don't think I had posted since this, but a few weeks ago, I was sitting on my bed, in my room with the door closed, and there was a knock on the door. The doorknob turned, and it walks my best best best friend in the world. He's away at college in a totally different province, and I only get to see him in the summer and over Christmas. So I was ecstatic, to say the least. I had no idea that he was coming home. Everyone else knew, even my parents. But he wanted to surprise me haha. It was one heck of a surprise. I jumped on him, haha. He stayed for a full ten days (which made me even happier). Turns out, it was ... (T, correct me if I'm wrong) ... midterm break? spring break? Something or other. Anyway, I was so happy to see him :). We had a blast while he was home. He's coming to my graduation (prom) with me as my "date", and he keeps nagging to see my dress :P. I haven't been able to get pictures to send him yet, since I still have to get it altered. Haha.

I probably have more to say, but if I keep going, I'll go on forever :P. Haha. So, I'm going to go watch some Ga-Rei: Zero. And impatiently wait for the Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle OVA to be subbed. I want to watch it. And I need a new manga chapter! The recent one was EPIC, to say the least. It revealed stuff that i've been speculating about for the entire series. Haha. See, here I go again, rambling when I just said I was going to go :P. Anyway, I'm going for real this time. .

Oh, and please welcome my newest blog buddy, Rinku from Rainy Days. Oh crap, I forgot to add her to the page. I'm a serious slacker lately. I have to go do that now. Haha.
